The “Green New Deal” will put so many restrictions and taxes on your American dream. Unrealistic restrictions are going to be forced on us as classic car owners, such as emission, mileage, restrictions on how far one can travel per year, number of classics you may own, and many other unwarranted forces rules and regulations. To this, I say, NO! Anyone who owns a classic should join a car club that will fight against the “Green New Deal” or start your own club. If you cherish your classic you should stand up and fight to keep it. The reasoning behind a car club, it is an organization with membership. The numbers of the car club are important because sometimes a person will go unnoticed, but an organization will be recognized. Spend time reading about this travesty against our Freedom to own an American car recognized as Freedom and the right to own one.
Call your Congressmen and Senators to fight against the freedom-killing travesty!
I am not trying to make this a political issue. But this is especially important to the car industry and car collectors and the ownership of a car.
If need be, I will turn this into a political issue to save and protect this industry.

Just a Blog
I have not written a Blog in a while because of the COVID-19 situation, so I decided to Blog just a little something this month. We are still busy and working. People are home and looking at cars and trucks online, so our website oldironaz.com is getting a lot of activity.
Due to the current status of being homebound and not getting to car shows, I hope everyone is keeping safe and being smart not to interact in large groups and taking necessary precautions to protect your family and friends.
Some of the major car shows are canceled or postponed. There are small car shows and cruise nights that are organized for the upcoming months. If anyone or any organization is planning an event we would be happy to advertise that event for FREE on our website and in our newsletter. Just email us at bill@oldironaz.com or oldironarizona@gmail.com – Please provide date, time, place and name of event.
I hope car enthusiasts are taking their cars out for a run once in a while to get the drivetrain lubricated and keep them in good working order. You might also have the interior work done at Pancho’s Upholstery, detailing at Detroit Auto Detailing, and stop in at Arizona Auto Refrigeration to have the air conditioning checked out.
Here are a few suggestions to make a short drive fun. Maybe a coffee-run on a Saturday or Sunday. Or go with a small group to get some coffee and hang out for an hour or two with proper social distancing and then go for a drive. Or take a run for some ice cream since it is still pretty warm in Tucson.
Not being able to go to car shows has affected our business, so if anyone would like to sell their classic car or truck, please give us a call and we will list it for you for FREE!
Keep safe!
Keep them rolling!
